Why we started.......
The club ultimately owes its existence to airgun and accessories dealer Edward Ramsbottom who owns and supports the web based bulletin board known as AirgunBBS. The club was directly formed in response to a suggestion made by BBS member, and subsequent first Club Secretary, Geoffrey Davies in February 2007. The suggestion came in the wake of difficulties encountered when trying to book the Bisley range for firearms users of airgunBBS. Previously, BBS firearms users had met informally several times, mostly at Minsterley ranges in Shropshire.
Club Ethos

The Club is concerned to promote a positive viewpoint on all legitimate shooting sports, including the use of firearms for hunting, the importance of accurate shooting and the encouragement of the safe use of firearms.
The Club is concerned to promote the enjoyment of shooting sports throughout the UK and is concerned to develop the social aspects of shooting sports.
