Who we are
The club is run by a group of dedicated sporting shooters who all met via the Airgun BBS and are all stalkers/hunters and many not members of other target rifle clubs. We currently meet at Bisley, but plan to expand to other ranges in the UK as the membership expands.
We are keen to help others take up the sport and we provide instruction and practice in the safe use of firearms. The Club is concerned to promote a positive viewpoint on all legitimate shooting sports, including the use of firearms for hunting and the importance of accurate shooting. We are also keen to promote the enjoyment of shooting sports throughout the UK and develop the social aspects of shooting sports.
We are now taking members who do not yet have existing FACs, but who are wanting to get one in the future. As well as teaching safe rifle handling to enable them to become a full members we will assist them in obtaining their FAC. Minimum probationary membership is usually a minimum of six months including at least three shoots, plus satisfactory completion of the Club's Safety Certification Scheme, unless you already have an FAC and NRA safe shooter card.
How to join
Ideally you will know someone who is already a member and can come as their guest to one of our many guest days. If not then if you've not joined the airgun bbs forum then thats a good start. This will give you a flavour of the club and more useful information than you'll ever need..
Above you will find a link to the club documentation, including the membership form. This needs to be filled in and sent to the membership sectretary along with the membership fee and TWO passport sized photos.
